kk has always been an artist…

but it was discovering her joy in arranging flowers that inspired her begin painting them. Artistically, kk is inspired by the work of Dale Chihuly (glassblower), Carrie Schmitt (painter), and David Austin (gardener). Her paintings have been described as “happiness on a canvas”.

kk believes that if a flower is placed (or painted) in the right place, it will do all the work of being beautiful. She cherishes the experience of “getting lost” in a rich painting or stunning floral arrangement.

kk has lived in Alabama all her life and currently resides in Auburn with her husband and two dogs.
